Perfect Romanesque minster, lovely modern stained glass, and don't miss the famous carvings in the chapter house, especially the hidden pigs eating the acorns. Good cafe and shop on-site.
Some great history with impressive stained glass. Huge intimidating building well worth it. For me it felt more like a medieval monument than a place of encounter with the living, active god of 21st century.
This is a fantastic cathedral, full of history! The location is amazing, peaceful and beautiful yet so close to the centre of Southwell.There is a really good shop here and also a cafe that is reasonably priced.It is well worth a visit in an afternoon as there is plenty to see and learn.We will definitely be coming back here soon,
Beautiful building! We came here for the Christmas craft fair and it had over 70 stallholders! Friendly volunteers and lots of effort made to make it a brilliant craft fair. The village is always stunning!
This building is incredible. The architecture is astounding, and the people are very kind and humble.I have been a chorister here for just over 3 years. It's been an amazing place to work in, and it's been an honour to work with such marvellous people as Paul Hale, Simon Hogan and Paul Provost.
