One of the best pubs in Southwell. Large menu for food and as well for drinks. Staff is very friendly as well. A good place to meet with somebody or see a football game for example. By the way, the blue burger is one of the best I ever had.

Excellent service and decent food. Old style pub with that modern twist, even a real coal fire.
Service was good , had the carvery and got 2 very small thin cuts of meat , would have expected more for a carvery at 13 , some veggies had ran out , would not go again .....
With the new management the pub has bloomed. The food was medioca before she took over and now it is insensible. I would recommend this pub for a drink after work, a nice garden drink and a fancy dinner. Recommended 100%.
