Excellent food, great staff, and a good atmosphere.
Disabled Review - Parking next to pub. Gravel car park so can make it a little difficult for access but worth the effort. One small step into the front entrance. The porch post by the step can be used for assistance to hold onto if needed. One small step up from the bar to the restaurant area. However some tables in the bar if you prefer. Good beer selection, including Timothy T. I ordered the risotto and my friend chicken. Both dishes were delicious with decent but not huge portions so that starters or desert would be possible. Good disabled toilet access. Landlady was sympathetic and professional and nothing too much trouble. Good atmosphere, real fire. Friendly village pub. Definitely worth a visit.

Went for a Christmas drink and it was rammed full of punters excellent service dogs welcome as well.
Myself and my wife stayed here on Saturday night. Upon arrival Claire greeted us, being warm and friendly. The room was a good size with a huge bed and very clean. Bar food was good too (only issue - no Guiness on tap, just in a can) had a lovely stay. Thanks
