My last visit was ok but the Sunday lunch wasn't up to its usual standard that was two Sundays ago. But I can see them some of the better places have their off days cheers Phil
Quaint pub on the banks of Trent river. Went for a works Christmas meal. Food was delicious and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. The Christmas decorations gave the pub a really lovely feel. I'd definitely visit again, as the prices were very reasonable.
Had an excellent meal here. Really good choice of food, we were a large party but all food came out on time and was delicious. The place had been decorated beautifully for Christmas. Would definately eat here again and would recommend. Disabled access also very good.
It was nice enough, but we weren't offered the opportunity to eat outside, nor the menu for the bar/outside, only the restaurant menu. Which, in fairness, was very good. But we would have preferred to have had the choice/been told that there was an alternative available
Lovely place in a lovely setting with great food and tasty menu. Portions were a good size and left us full up at lunch with just a main. Update Oct 2018: The Sunday lunches are to die for!
