I think the best pub in Southwell. Old traditional English looking pub with a train station theme. Dog friendly, roaring fires, delicious cheese boards, excellent pork pies, great range of beers and ciders. Good fun pub quiz on Tuesdays with sandwiches and pork pies for snacks. Great after a walk down the trail (it runs along side it) or a quick pint after work.

Excellent beer, a warm welcome, and interesting decor, especially in the garden. Smart and well kept, although a little dark. No meals, but good bar snacks (cobs, pork pies, cheese and biscuits) are always available. A little pricy, as you would expect for the quality.
Very nice thankyou just had a coffee after walking on the track.i like inside the pub and the beer yard.it wasn't noisy so it was nice and relaxing and nice with the old photos on the wall of what it used to be so it's nice to see some history of what you are walking on
Great pub. Wonderful atmosphere and an interesting layout. The outdoor area is made out to resemble the old station. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.
